Hi,

ISDN4BSD is going into ports. I need some testers that the
ports are actually working:

svn --username anonsvn --password anonsvn \
checkout svn://svn.turbocat.net/i4b/trunk/ports

cd comms/libcapi
make all install clean

cd comms/isdn4bsd-kmod
make all install clean

cd comms/isdn4bsd-utils
make all install clean

kldload i4b

Remember to clean up any old ISDN4BSD files before installing
the ports like:

rm -f /usr/lib/libcapi*
rm -f /usr/share/man/*/i4b*
rm -f /usr/share/man/*/ihfc*
rm -f /usr/share/man/*/iavc*
rm -f /usr/share/man/*/capi20*
rm -f /usr/sbin/isdn*
rm -f /usr/sbin/capi*

/boot/kernel/i4b.ko

Hello Hans,

I will test it after 1.04.

Still the same setup here (TE with euro isdn consumer line and NT with gigaset 3035 isdn)

System will be FreeBSD 9.0 and Asterisk 1.8. Already installed as virtual machine.

Regards
Oliver

Hans,

That's great! Do you plan to commit this to the main source tree eventually?

Because the ports tree is currently frozen due to FreeBSD 8.3 RC :-)

Yes, when the ports-freeze is over.

Dear Hans Petter,

ISDN4BSD is going into ports. I need some testers that the
svn --username anonsvn --password anonsvn \
checkout svn://svn.turbocat.net/i4b/trunk/ports
I tested it on a FreeBSD 9.0-Stable, including the chan_capi module with
asterisk 1.8.12.0 and two HFC ISDN cards.
It is working fine.

Thanks a lot for your work!
Please push it forward into the main FreeBSD tree.

Matthias

Dear Hans,

ISDN4BSD is going into ports. I need some testers that the
I upgraded today to the new version.
After I reinstalled all packages I did a kldunload i4b.
I checked with kldstat that the module was gone.
dmesg shows me:

Feb 2 11:26:46 server kernel: ihfc0: detached
Feb 2 11:26:46 server kernel: pci8: <network> at device 0.0 (no driver
attached)
Feb 2 11:26:46 server kernel: ihfc1: detached
Feb 2 11:26:46 server kernel: pci8: <network> at device 1.0 (no driver
attached)

I did a kldload i4b to load the new version and the kernel crashed.
After an automatically reboot the system seems to be up again and
everything works fine (isdn is working). Is this normal?

Thanks
Matthias
